Recipe Information

Ingredients:

SmokingPit.com - Great smoking recipes tips techiques smoker and grilling information. Traeger Texas Pellet Grills.

24 oz. Sour Cream
16 oz. Hot Salsa
4 oz. Cottage Cheese
10 Green Onion Sliced
3 Slices Red Onion Minced
2 Jalapeno Peppers Minced
1 Habanero Pepper Minced
2 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
6 - 8 drops Da Bomb Final Answer (optional)

Preparation:

This has been a favorite with friends and family for quite some time. It's a chunky aromatic dip that packs some heat without compromising the flavor. With the right amount of heat this dip will make you want to stand up and slap the bear!

You will want to wear food grade cloves during this cook as you will be handling some really hot peppers and pepper extract. You will also want to be careful not to rub your eyes or wash the mixing dishes in hot water. The capsaicin will adhere to the water particulates in the steam and you will regret it.

Gather up 10 green onions and slice them up. Next cut three slices of a red onion and mince the onion.

Remove the seeds from 2 Jalapeno peppers. Mince the Jalapeno peppers. Do the same with one Habanero.  Chop 2 tbsp of fresh garlic.

Get a large mixing bowl for mixing. Dump in 24 oz. of Sour Cream. Dump in 16 oz. of hot salsa. Add 4 oz. cottage cheese. Next add the minced onion, sliced green onion and chopped garlic.

Add the minced peppers. Measure out and add 1tsp Cayenne pepper. Carefully add 6 to 8 drops of Da Bomb "Final Answer" pepper extract. The amount is entirely up to how much heat you can stand and still enjoy the dip.

Mix the contents of the bowl thoroughly. I highly recommend you cover and let this dip rest in the fridge over night as it allows the pepper oils and other flavors to all meld together nicely.

That's it! Enjoy!
